Every cycle, Higher Ground Labs conducts the Election Tech Survey to better understand the trends, use cases, and gaps in political tech. We field this research biennially to help inform, analyze, and plan for the progressive movement’s tech needs.
If you are a campaign professional, digital organizer, or progressive technologist — we would love your input. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below.
This valuable data helps us move the needle forward in advancing progressive tech. In the past, insights gleaned from the Election Tech Survey (fka Buyer Survey) resulted in:
- Many campaigns were buying tech around Labor Day, and this delayed purchasing resulted in significant opportunity costs → Launched a coalition campaign to purchase technology before Independence Day pressing the importance of buying tech earlier in the campaign cycle
- Campaign professionals needed products to integrate and interact with each other, pointing to maturation in our space → Advocated for integration-first product-building
- Campaigners requested more, better mobilization tools → Continued to focus on mobilization tools through HGL’s investment thesis.
This research is not possible without your input. The survey takes 6-8 minutes to complete and all respondents will receive a report of the cumulative survey results. Thank you in advance for helping shape political tech to best meet the movement’s needs.
