Meet Thomas and James

Measure Studio makes centralizing and analyzing your social media data easy, so you and your team can focus on what you do best: making great content.

Recently, we asked founders Thomas Kramer and James Creech to share a bit about the company and their goals for the accelerator program.

Tell us more about why you started your company and its mission.

Thomas: Measure Studio’s mission is to amplify data-driven content strategy. We started the company to demystify what it means to succeed in a fragmented social media landscape. We want content people to be able to answer a simple question without the benefit of a math degree or the expense of a custom data warehouse: what content is working for me?

James: I’m energized by our mission to empower progressive social movements, make social marketer’s lives easier, and help creators make better content so they can earn a living doing what they love.

Where are your founders from? Where is the company based now?

Thomas lives in Philadelphia and James lives in Los Angeles. We have a remote organization with additional team members in Los Angeles, France, and Poland.

What are the features you’re most excited about at the moment?

Thomas: We just released an automated post grouping feature, which takes a ton of manual work out of organizing big libraries of social posts. It’s perfect for ongoing reporting on the series of a show, individual topics, and other grouping use cases.

James: I love our dynamic content performance benchmarking and am fired up about the early tests we’re doing with computer vision to help creators and social media marketers continually improve their content!

What has been the most challenging part of being a founder?

Thomas: Fitting 25 hours of emails into a 24 hour day.

James: The most challenging (and rewarding) part of being a founder is navigating the “unknown unknowns” and learning everything you need to know along the way.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Thomas: Italy with my wife for my very, very delayed honeymoon.

James: The Maldives.

What is your favorite hobby that you’ve started in the last year?

Thomas: We adopted a shetland sheepdog puppy and he may or may not have an Instagram.

James: I’ve started writing LinkedIn posts every weekday to share my insights on industry news and trends. I’ve met some incredible new people as a result, and it’s helped me stay informed and become a better writer!
